We are partnering with a Series A medtech company based in San Francisco, CA, that is developing AI-powered diagnostic platforms for early cancer detection. With around 70 employees and top-tier VC backing, the company is preparing for initial commercial launch and is seeking a Head of Commercial Strategy to lead their go-to-market planning and growth initiatives.
The Head of Commercial Strategy will define and execute commercialization strategies including market segmentation, pricing models, and channel partnerships. This is a high-visibility role reporting to the CEO, working closely with product development and regulatory teams to ensure successful market entry and expansion. The ideal candidate will have a track record of bringing diagnostic or medical technology products to market and thrive in high-growth startup environments.
We are seeking candidates with 10+ years of experience in commercial strategy, marketing, or business development within the medtech or diagnostics sectors. Prior leadership of early-stage commercialization, strong understanding of healthcare economics, and experience developing GTM strategies for regulated products are essential. Startup experience and the ability to operate strategically and tactically are highly valued.
