Competitive salary + equity + research ownership
We are partnering with an early-stage biotech company located in Waltham, MA, focused on developing next-generation allogeneic cell therapies targeting solid tumors. With around 80 employees, they have recently completed a successful Series A raise and are rapidly expanding their translational research efforts. They are seeking a Translational Research Scientist to help bridge discovery science and early clinical development initiatives.
In this role, you will design and execute preclinical studies to validate therapeutic candidates and support IND-enabling activities. The position requires close collaboration with discovery, clinical development, and biomarker teams to ensure a seamless transition of programs into first-in-human trials. This is a hands-on, bench-driven role that offers significant project ownership and the opportunity to shape early development strategy in a growing company.
We are seeking candidates with a PhD in Immunology, Molecular Biology, Oncology, or a related field, with 2–5 years of industry or academic translational research experience. Familiarity with cell-based therapies, tumor immunology, and biomarker development is highly desirable. Strong scientific rigor, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to work effectively in fast-paced startup environments are essential.
The company offers a competitive salary, an attractive equity package, and the chance to work on cutting-edge cell therapy programs with significant scientific ownership. Flexible working hours and a collaborative, science-first culture make this an exciting opportunity for researchers ready to make a real impact.
